French born, Japan based designer Julien David got his start in NY and spent time working for Narciso Rodriguez and Ralph Lauren before launching his own label in 2008. While mostly known for his whimsical pill popping silk scarves, he has produced a ready to wear collection for the past 3 seasons. Our good friends over at The Webster Miami sent us these black leather French Brogue Wingtip Boots ($520) from Julien David’s most recent collection, which come up above the ankle and are finished with a bright blue sole. They have a very durable design quality, and at times can be loose, but not at all sloppy. See more pics below

Frank Tell is a Spanish born, New York based designer who learned his craft at a tailor shop owned by his paternal grandmother. He got his start from working with lines such as Threeasfour and British designer Sue Stemp, while being  inspired by the likes of Josephine Baker, Ross Bleckner, Louise Brooks, and many more. Frank launched his own line in 2007, and his most recent Fall 2011 Collection contains these fabulous motorcycle inspired Fox Fur and Alligator Jackets ($7,800-$9,000) that are fully lined with cashmere, and are currently being housed over at The Webster Miami. He stated, “this is my first time using alligator”, and from it’s turn out, we’re sure everyone ‘s hoping that he continues to use alligator in future collections. See more pics below
