    McLaren’s  MP4-12C sports car, which was introduced 2 years ago, is finally nearing its availability date and the price has been set at ($229,000). The luxury car company hasn’t released a new car model since the release of the popular SLR back in 2003, which they built in collaboration with Mercedes-Benz. Powered with a twin-turbocharged V8 M838T engine that outputs 592 horsepower, the MP4-12C goes from 0-60 mph in 3.5 seconds and can reach a top speed of 220 mph. More looks below.

  • 2011 Hennessey Venom GT Supercar

    The 2011 Venom GT is a supercar that was built by Hennessey Performance in collaboration with Lotus Cars for the purpose of creating a vehicle that has excellent engineering, technology, and materials. This lightweight supercar is a union between the United States and Britain, with a design based on the British Lotus Elise and the power supplied by the American Hennessey supercharged 6.2 liter LS9 (725 hp-1200 hp) V8 engine, which takes its cues from the Corvette ZR1. A limited number of 10 Venom GTs will be manufactured each year with the price starting at ($630,000).

  • Most Expensive Supercar On Earth, $5 Million Diamond Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita

    The extremely limited Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita, which is marked with a $5 million price tag, is being described as the current most expensive supercar on Earth. Based on the Koenigsegg’s carbon fiber CCXR model, this supercar features a 5.0 liter twin supercharged V8 engine which can achieve 1,018 hp, reach 0-60 in 2.9 sec and max out at a speed of 250mph. Last but not least, the CCXR Trevita was finished with a “diamond weave” coating which sparkles in the sunlight. Only 3 of these Swedish made supercars have been built and each is currently available in South Africa. (Source 1)
