In 1984 Michael Jackson, one of the greatest entertainers the world has ever known, was in his prime and the “Thriller” album was a phenomenal success. That same year famous American artist Andy Warhol, who was also in the prime of his career, painted a portrait of the legendary Michael Jackson. In 1987 Andy Warhol passed away due to post surgery complications and Michael Jackson recently passed from yet to be determined causes. Now this very iconic portrait is scheduled to be sold at  an auction in New York starting at an estimated price of $840,000. However because both the artist and the model are no longer living this 30 x 26 in portrait is estimated to sell for millions more. So if you have the funds and you’d like to take a look at the work before the New York auction, the portrait is currently on display at the British Music Experience in London, the same location he was scheduled to kick start his comeback tour. I am completely lost for words….what can be said about such craziness!! Is this going to be a never ending trend for the King of Pop? If you missed the last post we did about Michael caught wearing women’s clothes you can see it here. If you ask me this is just plain foolishness!! I mean who does this man have in his room telling him that it is okay to wear women’s clothes? People have questioned Michael Jackson’s sexuality in the past and his actions right now are in no way validating his manhood. This is wrong on so many levels that I feel embarrassed for him. Is there any one out there that feels Michael should get a pass because of his iconic status?

Yes people it’s true, your eyes are not playing tricks on you. One of the greatest legends in music to date is wearing women’s clothing. Why?! I wish I could give you a good explanation to justify Michael’s actions but frankly I can’t find any. Are you trying to let the world know something Micheal? Is this what were doing in 2009?

When I saw this, I was in shock for a couple of minutes and filled with disbelief, which was then followed by pity. What in the world possesses a man to put on women’s clothes and feel it’s perfectly okay. I mean we can’t even say it was an accident because it was done not once, but on several different occasions. I know you are Michael Jackson but there’s some things that you aren’t allowed to do. All I can say is wow!! Come on Michael lets keep it together and not destroy whatever it is that is left of your image.
