    Jewelry designer Eli Halili hosted a party that drew a spectacular crowd including football player: Victor Cruz. He arrived to the soiree looking dapper in suit jacket and cropped trouser combo. Pairing leather sneakers, cropped trousers and a vibrant Michael Bastian shawl collar jacket, Cruz was turning heads with his classic holiday inspired look.

    Michael Bastian debuted their Spring/Summer 2013 Menswear Collection during Fashion Week in New York City.  The collection featured button down shirts that were made casual with the arms rolled up and the hem not tucked in, bright colors pants, and fun flats and sneakers.     NBA superstar LeBron James attended the Michael Bastian Men’s Spring 2012 fashion show during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York City.  Going for a  preppy look, he wore a Michael Bastian sweater  layered over a white dress shirt, khaki trousers, and wheat colored lace-up chukka boots.     Rapper Jay-Z was spotted performing on stage with Rihanna and Bono for the “Hope for Haiti Now: A Global Benefit for Earthquake Relief” telethon wearing a Michael Bastian camouflage cotton shirt ($373). The camo shirt is from the Spring/Summer 2010 collection, which was a tribute to the perennial beach icon, the lifeguard. It’s good to see that Jay-Z or his stylist is pulling pieces from a different class of designers.
