Kanye West and his team refuse to follow the norms and insist on breaking every rule you can imagine when it comes to entertainment, fashion, and art. His latest VMAN magazine cover is definitely no exception to these ideals. Shot by fashion designer/artist/photographer Karl Lagerfeld, it’s clear the message for the shoot plays on the idea that money talks, as seen in the video below, actual dollar bills are being stuffed in a cut-out on the cover. Do you think every issue will stuffed with money? Check out the video below.

[Right]- Rick Owens jersey V-neck T-shirt ($570), Damir Doma hooded scarf with braid detail ($695).

NBA superstar Kobe Bryant channeled his inner renaissance for the photo shoot and interview he recently did for the LA Times Magazine May issue. Instead of all black everything, Kobe’s photo shoot, which was shot by Ruven Afanador, consisted of him wearing all white pieces from various designers. I must say, it’s as if Kobe is trying to tell us that if he wasn’t playing professional basketball he would be modeling for a high-end fashion label. Some of the looks are without a doubt questionable, while others he pulls off in his own unique way. Although the photo shoot was styled by James Valeri, I wonder if Kobe is going to incorporate this new look into his everyday wear. Whether he does or not is up in the air, but at least he knows that he has a few outfits lined up if he ever needed to make an appearance at an all white event.

Hate it or love it, Jay-Z is at the top of his game, and is currently the most respected Hip Hop artist in the industry. Not only is he the most respected, he is also the most successful rapper. It was recently reported by Forbes that Jay-Z and famous wife Beyonce Knowles were Hollywood’s Top-Earning couple with combined earnings of $122 million. Everyone can agree 2009 was a good year for Jay-Z and so far, 2010 is looking even better. With a hit record (Empire State of Mind ft. Alicia Keys) off of his 11th album-‘The Blueprint 3’, the 40 year old rapper seems to be taking his career to new heights.

Jay-Z, the emerging Hip Hop Mogul, recently did an interview and photo shoot which is to be featured on the cover of Interview Magazine’s February issue. Throughout the interview, Mr.Carter touched on topics such as his overall music inspiration, the future of Hip Hop, and his growth as a rap icon. From reading, I realized that Jay-Z is an intelligent guy who has a good understanding of music and business. But don’t take my word for it, check out the interview yourself here.
