Five Ways to Master “Pre-Spring” Weather

March 17, 2016

“Pre-Spring” weather is best recognized by its fluctuation from hot days to colder, brisker evenings. You could find yourself regretting the layers or wishing you had a few more if you don’t know how to master the season.

The “major key” to dressing well and efficiently during this transition is versatility. Layering is key during winter, mostly because of need, but during the time just before Spring, layering becomes an art-form.

You can rock the jacket when it’s cooler out and take it off when it’s warmer, – just like Miguel did – but make sure you’ve got a stylish tee on underneath, too.

Denim has great breathability, – especially if it’s got a few holes in it – so it’s the go-to jacket for an all-day wear.

Pieces with versatility, like shirts, are a vital piece of the “pre-spring” rotation. If it’s hot, roll ’em up. If you get cold, roll ’em back down.

Keep It Comfortable

LeBron’s in layers, but they’re slim and breathable. Specifically in this outfit, the John Elliott sweats rest just above the ankle and give you a little more air when it’s hotter, but the sweater will keep you warm when it gets colder. A look like this also makes it easy to add or remove layers. Or – if you really want to, you could try ‘Ye’s newest rendition of the sweatpant.

Now that winter has come and gone (almost), it’s time to break out your sneakers again; no more boots. The weather’s nice, so go enjoy it in some comfortable kicks – my recommendation is Kendrick Lamar’s Reebok collaboration.
