thetenthspot asked: What do you think is the best plain designer t-shirt for the summer?

Answer: My favorite plain designer t-shirt for the summer hands down is the John Elliott + Co. curve u-neck silk blend tees ($134) in grey and white. The silk-blend style tees are definitely an upgrade from the basic cotton-blend u-neck tees ($64) that were originally introduced in the collection, hence the price difference. I’ve been wearing the silk-blend tees since early April and one of the first things I noticed was the improvement in the fit, which I believe is due to the blend of the silk enchanting the fabrics memory. However, what clearly sets it apart from the other shirts in the collection and on the market now is the distinct texture of the fabric, which is a custom blend of cotton and silk not available anywhere else. One look, touch, or feel let’s you know that this isn’t just your ordinary tee.  Check out the latest John Elliott release here and for those of you who prefer a classic crew-neck style tee ($128), the silk-blend style is offered in that as well.
