Ask Allen: Do You Buy Shirts Bigger in Size or Already Made Oversized?
Anonymous asked: Hey Allen I’m a big fan but i just wanted to ask a question about oversized shirts ? Do you buy shirts bigger than you in size or you just buy already made oversized shirts? And please where can i get a long shirt like the one in your picture with the biker jacket? Please answer me I Love you style and look up to you for fashion.
Answer: The oversized shirts that I wear are specifically designed to be oversized. I don’t buy bigger shirts in an attempt to achieve the oversize look. When you try to do that it usually affects the cut, shape, and silhouette, which results in a more boxy and baggy fit and look. Years ago finding shirts made to be oversized would’ve been a bit challenging but now not so much. As its popularity has grown so has its accessibility. The shirt that I’m wearing in my Instagram picture with the biker jacket is a white Alexandre Plokhov button front shirt ($505) in my true size a 52/Large. Thanks for your continued support!
