Rihanna Receives Custom Givenchy T-shirt from Riccardo Tisci

Not many designers capitalize on the influence pop culture has in popularizing their brand, but Givenchy’s Riccardo Tisci does. His ability to always stay in touch with popular street culture has been one of the major reasons Givenchy, under his direction, is one of the most popular high-end brands out today. That’s why when Rihanna instagrammed a picture of a custom made t-shirt with a painted image of herself, which was sent from Mr. Tisci himself, I was not surprised. The tee features designs from past collections mixed together with similar imagery from the upcoming Pre-Fall 2013 collection. What do you think about Rihanna’s custom tee?
