President Barack Obama welcomed the 2012 NBA champion Miami Heat to the White House yesterday. Star guard Dwyane Wade stood out from the rest of the team by wearing a pair of Christian Louboutin Golfito rose Paris flat leather sneakers ($675) with his light grey suit. This is just pathetic and sad. Why would he do that – at the white house? So disrespectful, would´ve taken him like 5 minutes to dress up like a normal fucking human being and behave in correct manner. This is not a fashion statement arena.   Ego? Why are you upset at what D-Wade selected to wear? I personally don’t like the shoes but I’m also not upset by them. These are Athletes not people from corporate America or students. D-Wade made a personal choice and he does play Basketball. I don’t get what the huge issue is. Not a choice I would make but just Google Michael Jackson when he went to the White House. Those sneakers are not a big deal. This guy HOOPS for a living It’s not the end of the world.

These people are Basketball Players they don’t have class or taste and I don’t think people care what his shoes look like. These type of people do what they want to do. Obama is not worried about his shoes and the office of President is not hurt by poor fashion choices. Michael Jackson and Elvis were also at the White House dressed as they usually do. Entertainers have a different standard applied to them.

  You must agree that Dwayne Wade is hardly a worthy comparison to MJ or Elvis. Men like wade need to recognize that although ‘famous’, they do not have the artistic license to dress so flamboyantly (especially in this context), and accordingly their fashion choices come off as a desperate cry for attention rather than the sophisticated fashion statement they seek.

  D-Wade can dress anyway he wants and he clearly wore those shoes. D-Wade is also FAMOUS. He may not be Michael Jackson famous but he is FAMOUS enough to get this HONOR by Basketball FAN President Barack Obama. And I’m sure Obama was not offended by his SNEAKERS. It’s also clear from his suit color and shoes that D-Wade wanted to STAND out and I would say he accomplished that goal as well.
