Do you remember Big Sean’s GQ spread back in November which highlighted the field vest as a great style option for the winter? Well, David Beckham just gave us his best rendition of how the look should be executed recently out in London. The model/soccer star layered a blue quilted field vest underneath a navy two button blazer and paired it with wheat colored pants and RRL Brunel leather boots ($490). What do you think of his look?

Its terrible but I’m sure plenty will praise it just cause its Beckham, as good as his last look was this is equally bad.

  Are you NUTS? Beck has STYLE. Meek Kills, A$OP, Kanye, Neyo, and all the other music toads on this blog don’t have style or taste for that matter. This is casual look. Beck is not trying to gain respect from people who were born with nothing but who need self esteem through labels. Labels to blacks convey they have “made it” to other blacks. Beck has confidence in who he is. Beck dresses because he like clothes and his personality is reflected in his STYLE choices. This is very BRITISH.

  “Labels to blacks convey they have “made it” to other blacks”… Wow, nothing gets by you, does it? You name a handful of (perhaps worthless) black musicians seen on this site, and then blanket the entire black population with the same theory on clothing. A very small, no, feeble minded comment (not saying you are). Its humorous, though. Considering how many other cultures blatantly display brands and labelled clothing for the very reason you just mentioned, and im not going to name them, there’s no point, its very obvious. Its just…funny you mention blacks specifically and only blacks.

  David Beckham dressed like trash for the past for most of the 5 years. Distressed t shirts showing his trucker-chav tattoos, LA gangster shirts buttoned up to the very top, tacky sports baseball caps w/ dumb sneakers. Check the archives. He dressed like the typical American, since he lived in Los Angeles during his tenure with the Galaxy. The racial bit was unnecessary, the label thing is thoroughly an American thing, not specifically a “black” thing.
  
  FYI – Beckhams are very new money and are surely trying to convey they made it. Look at the cars they drive. Rolls-Royces with black wheels. He grew up in the ghetto after all.

I bet this is how ppl in London dress to run a quick errand or just grab a coffee. In LA, ppl wear basketball shorts and a hoodie lol. Not really a fan of the color of the pants but that blazer is clean.Beckham also pulls off those types of hats nicely.

  But David tried to mimic that style. They just moved back to London so now he’s back to being a style icon. When they lived in LA he dressed like the typical tacky LA person with hoodies.

Everyone entitled to their own taste, but seriously, on a cold, rainy day, how many cats are dressed more calculated than this? With the layered top, fitted chinos with boots and a paperboy hat… Really good fit in my opinion, especially since you know he’s just doing errands/ bumbing around…

Why are people hating? I think this is amazing. The sizing and maybe tailoring is just perfect, well done well dressed. And I’m definitely not saying this just because it’s him and he already has the reputation of a well dressed man, I’m just saying this just proves it that he deserves that title.
