motherfuckthapolice Asked: “What do you think of the quality of Givenchy t-shirts? How should you wash them?”Answer: I think the quality of Givenchy tees are superb. Even though they’re made of 100% cotton, it doesn’t look and feel like your normal cotton tee. When it comes to washing designer clothing, I would always recommend either you get it dry cleaned or wash it by hand. If you’re like me and you don’t mind getting your hands wet from time to time and choose to wash it yourself, do so in cold water on the reverse side (inside out), and afterwards iron on the same side (inside out) as well.

of course allen would say its the best cotton in the world , Dude its cotton , it gets no pure 100% cotton i dont care who make its the same fabric Jcrew use , OR AA , its a basic cotton You’re paying for the name its nottin special

That you believe cotton is cotton shows to prove how little you know of manufacturing, Allen. It´s like comparing beer and spirits due to the fact that they´re both technically alcohol.

There is Pima Cotton, Egyptian Cotton, Uplands, Supima… list goes on. And within these fabrics there are several different thread counts. That being said Givenchy tees are all hype – you do not get what you pay for in terms of quality. But hey, if broke ass ghetto kids wants to blow their mums college savings to be losers and pretend they´re Kanye West that´s their choice although it´s borderline pathetic and gay

imho there are some givenchy t shirt made in excellent way. For example the birds of paradise tee or many woman tees. many others (like rottweiler, bandana, unicorn) are obvious t shirts with obvious prints.

That’s the reason why they are so imitated.

have you ever seen a fake cristopher kane? don’t think so.

And do not forget where are produced: portugal. No italy, no japan. Just portugal.

  Yeah, actually they’re made in the same place where Zara mades stuff and that’s pretty awkward. I’m not comparing Givenchy to Zara, neither in terms of fit nor in term of quality, but I’ve got an Alexander McQueen t-shirt and I’ve found the quality its pretty lame, and it’s even made in Italy. I guess Givenchy tees are no better than that. My personal suggestion is to avoid high-end printed tees.

If you care that much dry-clean or hand-wash them. In the end its all just clothing.

I dont have any personal experience with Givenchy but I can say that I throw my Rick Owens cotton pieces in the washer and dryer (even the thinest/more delecate pieces). Although when it comes to blended garments (silk, cashmere & various types of wool) I just send it to the dry cleaners.

Dont stress to much about washing any clothing. Its meant to be worn and washed when it gets dirty.

no disrespect to allen but allen i went to your tumblr site and all i can say is you dress similar to kanye? you seem to follow his style. i see nothing personal on your style i see kanye west. these givenchy tees are ordinary im starting to see alot of people doing their own tshirt line with these type prints LOL
