Kanye West made a solo appearance to the Christian Dior Spring/Summer 2013 show during Paris Fashion Week. The musician/designer was spotted wearing a black shawl collar dinner jacket layered over a black long tee, leather pants, and Nike Air Jordan retro 1 sneakers. What do you think about his outfit choice?

I dont know if anyone can see what Kanye is doing or not but if you look at the creative directors of these Top Fashion Houses, they have a signature look or uniform. For more common/popular examples are Karl Lagerfield, Marc Jacobs, Tom Ford. They have a distinctive uniform type of dress.

LOL leather pants with sneakers, its been about 3 days since Kanye wore that. Some ppl say he has a certain “uniform” ? Leather pants, an XL tank and sneakers is a pretty tacky uniform then. I give him props for trying to expand his business though with all the networking at these events.

As much as I love Kanye, he pretty much exhausted this look (blazer, waxed denim/leather pants, tank top, jordans/air yeezy’s)! I liked his fashion sense A LOT more when it wasn’t so predictable. Not to mention always wearing black.

Mr West is indeed branding a signature look for himself…actually if you dont see the early L.L Cool J influence with the number 1 J’s and leather pants..then you may not understand the merging of high end labels and street culture.
