Here we have an interesting spin on the recent matte black craze. The France based company, DARTZ, decided to completely wrap a Ferrari F430 in black leather. DARTZ first started out as a window film retailer back in 1988 and has since created their own film, manufactured bank equipment, and also car conversions. As interesting of a combination that it is, this Ferrari is definitely a head turner. And even though it doesn’t seem that practical, we felt it was pretty well executed. What do you think about it? I think that having the leather coating ripped off your Ferrari is about the least an angry girlfriend will do. Paint jobs key much easier than leather, for one thing.

I’m guessing it’s waterproofed leather, like you might find on shoes.

actually, saw more about it on another website. it’s actually vinyl made to look like leather. so, it’s basically covered with 1970′s datsun seat covers-type material
