Model Kate Moss was spotted doing some shopping wearing a Balmain Motocross Tail Leather Jacket ($13,875) from the Spring 2010 Collection worn over a vintage Mickey Mouse top (similar version shown below). This jacket features a fold-over collar with snap closure at neck, a full zip-fastening through the front, two asymmetric zip-fastening breast pockets, a buckle-fastening tab, a double zip pocket at side, and zip-fastening three-quarter length sleeves. This stand out piece can be best identified by its leather tail hanging from the back. See pics below

  you obviously have no experience in the process of manufacturing garments, and surely have no idea what it costs to have one of the top designers in the world hand-craft a jacket out of the absolute best leathers/materials you’ll ever put your hands on.. In comparison to cars for example; a hand-built Bugatti costs over a million dollars more than any mass production luxury vehicle for a reason. You do get what you pay for, regardless if you are too ignorant to understand why. Stick to replicas if you think its all the same…

Of course it is more expensive to manufacture this jacket than a one from zara or armani exchange for that matter, but it is still a leather jacket. How do you explain what so WONDERFUL about this jacket that makes it worth fx 7000 dollar more than , well lets say, a 4000 dollar gucci? You dont GET what you pay for in any kind of practical sense. What you DO get is feeling of exclusiveness and social importance knowing that only a very few people are your situation. With your theory, its like saying that youre paying for the materials and production costs when you purchase a 130k$ phillippe starck living room table
