High-end footwear label Stubbs & Wootton is not only collaborating on a shoe line with Kanye West, but they’ve also partnered up with Marc Jacobs to create a collection of Stinky Rat Slippers. Made with cotton woven canvas, these shoes feature a Marc Jacobs Stinky Rat logo on the front. They come in 6 different colors and are only available through Marc Jacob stores. More looks below.
Last year we got our first look at the Hermes Quicker sneaker ($830), and this time around we’re going to examine the new colors that are currently available. Just like the previous offerings, these Quicker sneakers are low-top and use goatskin for the upper and a rubber sole for the bottom. Giuliano Fujiwara continues to explore their original concept of blending Japanese design with Italian manufacturing, and their latest efforts can be seen through this wool coat ($1,465) from the Fall/Winter 2010 collection. Swiss car designers Ueli Anliker have taken the Mercedes McLaren SLR 999 and literally upgraded it to gold status. Gold was added to the red body finish, the rims as well as the interior, and to top it off, Anliker threw in ruby stones. With over 11 pounds of gold detail and 600 rubies, this McLaren SLR 999 has an estimated value of ($5.2 million). What do you think, too much gold or just enough? More pics below.
