Irish actor Jonathan Rhys Meyers was spotted making a coffee and donut run wearing a Dsquared Inside Out Biker Pea Coat Jacket ($2,295) from their Fall/Winter 2009 collection. This jacket combines design characteristics of a pea coat and a leather biker jacket. Designed to appear inside out, the jacket features red plaid, leather shoulder epaulets, quilted elbows, and a knit wool patch pocket.

I hate this jacket. Anything looks gorgeous on Jonathan, but this jacket is just too much. The concept is too scattered and busy. You look at it and think, what the hell is he? a business man? a biker? a lumberjack? Fashion should be fun, but this isn’t flattering, it doesn’t have a clear concept, and frankly looks like something a design student put together from thrift store finds. And got a failing grade on.
Would look fantastic on a character in RENT, but that’s about it. I hope they are paying him to wear it instead of the other way around. I would suspect so, as they almost certainly have a storeroom full of them to move.
i think it’d look good on any James Dean esque person or a good streetstyle vibe
The styles haven’t changed much because the original design is still aesthetically pleasing and appropriate for any activity.
