It seems like Christian Louboutin isn’t the only one starting up a brand new shoe line, because news has recently surfaced that Jimmy Choo is expanding beyond their popular heels and stilettos with the inclusion of high-end sneakers for women. Set to be released in the Pre Fall 2010 collection, the new Jimmy Choo shoe line will consist of 8 pairs of sneakers featuring patent leather, suede, and exotic Elaphe snake skin with a striking star motif sole. The collection will be available at all Jimmy Choo stores and the online store by May 2010 in white, black, purple and beige. Price is expected to be marked around (approx. $461) for low tops and (approx. $617) for high top sneakers. While it is known that Jimmy Choo is strictly a women’s shoe brand, I wonder if this sneaker release implies that a mens shoe line is in the works.
