Here’s what you can expect from Belgian designer, Kris Van Assche’s Autumn/Winter 2009 sneaker collection. This sneaker collection is probably a result of his recent partnership with Italian designer Manifattura Ferrarese who does a lot of work for the Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton Group (LVMH) sneaker line. Kris Van Assche’s new sneaker collection consists of over 30 different shoe variations and should be available this summer. I must say, I like.
If you didn’t know, well I guess I’ll break the news to you, Calvin Klein has once again gotten one of their advertisements banned. Time and time again they release commercials for public and cable television networks that are on the verge of becoming risqué and the networks pull the ads every time. Just like last year when the Eva Mendes Calvin Klein Secret Obsession commercial aired, it was quickly yanked off the airwaves, deemed unacceptable for the public. I think its just apart of the Calvin Klein culture, I mean go to Youtube and type in “Calvin Klein Banned” and you’ll see one video after another, it’s crazy. And here they go again with their new Jeans ad, after watching it…even though I personally don’t think it’s a big deal, I can see why it was banned.
The banned Spring 2009 Calvin Klein Jeans Ad was filmed by Steven Meisel with stylist Karl Templer in Los Angeles last year. The ad stars models Anna Maria Jagodzinska, Natasha Poly, Anna Selezneva,Vladimir Ivanov,Edita Vilkeviciute, and Danny Schwarz wearing only their Calvin Klein jeans, oiled up, and rubbing their bodies up against each other. I was going to post the ad so you all could watch it here but Youtube must have also banned the ad because they removed the video not to long ago. However I found it somewhere else so you can watch it here or here. If you thought that was too explicit, well don’t worry because Calvin Klein is releasing an edited version for cable networks.
Update: The videos have resurfaced on Youtube, you can watch them below. I put 2 of the same just in case one is removed, you know how that goes.
This sporting suiting line from Hugo Boss was recently shown in the Berlin fashion week which kicked off today. Boss Black’s menswear exhibited class with severe cuts of seventies-style leathers (in motorcycle shapes and blazer shapes) and shawl collars aplenty. I think this new collection looks chill, relaxed and wearable. Definitely the style for the fashionable conscious guy.

This is one of the new Louis Vuitton bags set to hit stores this summer. I think its an interesting and definitely one of a kind concept. What do ya’ll think?
All I have to say is- “I have to get this trench coat, it’s perfect.” It’s a beige colored Maison Margiela short trench coat made in Italy with a classic hook and bar closure collar, military style button shoulder epaulettes, belt banded cuff long raglan sleeves, front trench-style button flap, slanted side pockets with two interior besom pockets, and a belt buckle that goes around the end of the coat. This trench coat really puts the finishing touches on any outfit and will surely tell the ladies that you know a little more about fashion then they thought. They’re available right now for $1,545 and I must say for the look it presents, it’s well worth the price.
Tom Ford is responsible for one of the most expensive pair of jeans and they are set to hit stores this season. The jeans are a whopping $990, they are said to be made from pre-washed indigo color Japanese selvage denim that supposedly won’t shrink or shed. The pockets are lined with fine silk and the front button is plated with 18 carat gold, but is all that still worth the astronomical price. The answer lies in the eyes of the beholder, but I’ll save my opinion until the pictures surface.
BMW Group DesgnworksUSA is at it again. They just recently finished up work with Zeydon for the Z60 Yacht and now it seems as though they have more designs up their sleeves. BMW Group DesignworksUSA is a company which BMW has owned since 1995 and they have constructed something truly magnificent, the Bavaria Deep Blue 46 which was named by BMW Group DesignworksUSA after the BMW name itself-Bavarian Motor Works.
The 46 foot yacht has a 14.76 foot wide beam, refreshing sun lounges, wide passageways, and spacious compartments below the deck, BMW may have just scored a winner with this one. The Bavaria Deep Blue 46 motoryacht is scheduled to be unveiled at the Düsseldorf Boat Show off the coast of the Rhine river in Northern Germany. Wealthy ladies and gents, get ready because it seems as though BMW is serious about these boats.
